Who we are:

The CNY Doll is Art Guild is a wonderful group of doll artisans that live in New York State. Our members create unique art dolls using many different mediums. You will see hand sculpted clay, fabric, and soft sculpted dolls just to name a few.

What we do:

We are dedicated to educating the CNY public about Art Dolls as collectible fine art. The CNYDAG host fine art doll shows exclusively throughout New York State. These doll shows are geared toward fund raising events and educating the public about Art dolls. Many of our members host their own classes to teach the public the art of fine art doll creating.

My name is Elizabeth Sampson and I am the founder of this wonderful group of NY doll artists.

The CNYDAG was created on March 2, 2004. Being a sculptress and working in my basement studio, I felt very much alone in my art. Not knowing any other doll artists locally and wanting to share my love of dolls with other doll enthusiasts, the CNYDAG was born.

I felt the need to help educate the CNY area about fine art dolls as collectibles. With the help of our members we are dedicated to bring fine art dolls to the CNY region. At the CNYDAG you will find many unique creations by our very talented artists.
