Annette has been working with fabric, fiber, needle and thread for a lifetime. Her work is primarily dolls these days, but also includes wearable art, and art quilts for the wall.
The whimisical character dolls, and more serious Goddess figures that she creates, reflect a view of life that is hopeful, fun-loving, and thoughtful.
Having studied with various renowned doll-makers over the years, Annette feels that she has developed a style that is her own, and enjoys sharing her work with audiences far and wide.
If you visit her website, you will find many examples of her work, as well as venues where you may find the work for sale other than directly from the artist. One category of work that she particularly has enjoyed is called 'Memories into Art'. This work is by commission only and involves taking memorabilia that one might wish to preserve and turning it into an art doll, a piece of wearable art, or an art quilt for the home.
